average speed = total distance covered / total time taken

d1 = 30km & d2 = 30km
t1 = d1/v1 = 30/40 = 3/4 = 0.75hr & t2 = d2/v2 = 30/20 = 3/2 = 1.5hr

avg. speed= 30+30/0.75+1.5 = 60/2.25 = 26.67km/hr

so average speed is 26.67 km/hr
