We have to first find Time

Time =Distance /speed

= 60/60

=1hour

Average speed = Total Distance /Total Time

= 60/1

= 60km/h.

Answer:

avg. speed of car is 80/3 km/hr.(26.66..)

Step-by-step explanation:

given: s1=30 km and v1= 40 km/hr....t1=?

          s2=30 km and v2 =20 km/hr.....t2=?

∴t1 =s1/v1  and t2=s2/v2

i.e t1=3/4 sec and t2=3/2 sec

wkt.,avg.speed= total distance/total time taken...

<s>=(s1+s2)/(t1+t2) km/hr

<s>=30+30/(3/4+3/2) km/hr

on taking LCM....

we get..<s>=60*4/9  i.e <v>=80/3 km/hr
