Answer:

both the car and bicycle have equal speed.

Explanation:

speed of car= distance/time

= 80/4

= 20km/HR

speed of bicycle= 100/5.

= 20, km/HR

hence both the speed are equal.

Answer:

In car

Distance travelled by car = 80 km

Time taken. = 4hrs

Speed = distance / time

= 80 / 4 × 18 / 5 ( to convert km/h to m/s)

= 72 m/s

By bicycle

Distance travelled by the bicycle = 100 km

Time taken = 5hrs

Speed = distance / time

= 100 / 5 × 18 / 5 ( to convert km/h to m/s)

= 72 m/s

Speed of car = Speed of bicycle

Therefore, the car and the bicycle

are traveling at the same speed .
