Explanation:

Initial velocity of a car is 10 m/s

The speed is up to 20 m/s in 5 seconds.

Initial velocity u = 10 m/s

Final velocity v = 20 m/s

Time t = 5 seconds.

We know that :

v = u + at

So , putting values in the equation

20 = 10 + a × 6

=> a × 6 = 10

=> a= 10 / 6

=> a= 1.66 m/s^2

Therefore , the acceleration of the car is 1.66 m/s^2
