A car travelling at 110 km/h decelerates for 4.5 seconds to a final velocity of 45 km/h. Calculate the deceleration of the car​

final velocity = 45 km/h = 12.5 m/s

intial velocity= 110 km/h = 30.5 m/s

We put frist equation of motion

v = u + at

12.5=30.5+(-4.5a). ( - is because deceralrate )

12.5-30.5=-4.5a

-18=4.5a

a=-18/4.5=4

then a= 4 meter pre second square
