Initial velocity of car(u) = 20 km/hr
= 20 × 5/18 m/s
= 50/9 m/s
Final velocity of car(v) = 60 km/h
= 60 × 5/18 m/s
= 50/3 m/s
Time taken(t) = 6 seconds
As, we know formula for acceleration is -
(v-u)/t
= {(50/3 ) - (50/9)} / 6
= {(150-50)/9} /6
= 100/9 /6
= 100/54
= 1.851 m/s
Answer) Acceleration is 1.851 m/s.
