A car travelling at 20m/s along a road. A car runs out into the road 50 m ahead and a car driver step on the brakes pedal. What deacceleration be if the car is to stop just before it reaches the child

To find deacceleration .

we know third equation of motion .

v^2-u^2=2as

0^2-20^2 =2a20

-400=40a

a= -10 m/s^2.

hence deacceleration is -10 m/s^2.
