Given that :

Initial velocity of car is 40 km/hr

Final velocity of car is 50 km/hr

Time taken by car is 4 s = 1/900 hr

Need to find : Acceleration of car.

⠀⠀━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━⠀

❍  To calculate the acceleration, we have to substitute the values in the first equation of motion ::

    \large\bold{\underline{\rm{\blue{\bigstar \;\;  v = u =+ at}}}}

Where,

  • v denotes final velocity
  • u denotes initial velocity
  • a denotes acceleration
  • t denotes time taken

T H E R E F O R E,

→ 50 = 40 + [ a × 1/900 ]

→ 50 = 40 + [ a/900 ]

→ a/900 = 50 - 40

→ a/900 = 10

→ a = 10 × 900

→ a = 9000 km/h²

⠀⠀━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━⠀

  • Henceforth, acceleration of the car is 9000 km/hr²
