Distance traveled by first car in t hours = 60 t

distance traveled by second car in ( t-1) hours = 80(t -1)

As distance travelled is equal

60 t = 80( t-1)

60 t = 80 t -80

20 t= 80

t= 4

Hence time taken by second car = (t-1) = 3 hours
