First we convert kmph speed into m/s units.
Easy trick to do this: multiply by 5/18
Speed= 60*5/18 = 16.7m/s
according to equation of motion,
v = u + at
Speed becomes zero in 10s,
0 = 16.7 + 10a
16.7 = -10a
a= 16.7/10 = -1.67 m/s^2
- sign shows that it is deceleration.
Ans: deceleration= 1.67m/s^2
