Hey Dear,

● Answer -

Retardation = 4.167 m/s^2

◆ Explanation -

# Given -

v1 = 60 kmph = 50/3 m/s

v2 = 45 kmph = 25/2 m/s

# Solution -

Acceleration of the car is calculated by -

a = (v2 - v1) / t

a = (25/2 - 50/3) / 10

a = -4.167 m/s^2

Therefore, retardation produced by car is 4.167 m/s^2.

Hope this helps you. Thanks for understanding.
