Heya‼
⚪Initial velocity, u = 60 km/hr
= 60 × 5/13 m/s
= 23.07 m/s
⚪Final velocity, v = 45 km/hr
= 45 × 5/13 m/s
= 17.30 m/s
⚪Time taken, t = 10 sec
⚪As we know,
Acceleration = (Initial velocity – Final velocity) / Time taken
a = ( u – v ) / t
a = ( 23.07 – 17.30 ) / 10
a = 5.77 / 10
a = 0.577 m/s
Hence, its retardation is –0.58 m/s.
