Answer: -2 m/s^2

Explanation:

=>Final velocity, v = 0

=>Initial velocity, u =72km/h x 5/18 =>20m/s

=>Time, t = 10 s

So, Acceleration, a =(v - u)/t

a = ( 0 - 20m/s ) /10s

a = -20 m/s / 10s

a = -2m/s^2

=> Negative sign of acceleration defines deceleration or retardation. Which means acceleraton is going on decreasing time to time.
