speed = d/t
40 = d/9
360 km = Distance

Now at 60 km/h

60= 360/t
t = 360/60
t = 6 hours

Hence the car will take 6 hrs to cover the same distance at 60km/hr

Total distance = (40×9) km

= 360 km

So, required time

= (360 / 60) hrs

= 6 hrs.

Answer :- 6 hours
