Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The car travels for 5 hrs at 70km/hr

So as three formula says

Speed = distance / time

So the car travels 70 × 5 = 350km

If speed is reduced by 14 km/hr

Speed of car now = 70 - 14 = 56 km/hr

So to travel 350 km at 56 km/hr implies

Time = distance / speed

So time taken in hrs ( as all values are in hrs )

Time taken is 6.25 hrs

In min we must multiply 60 as 1 hr = 60 min

Hence

375 min is the answer. i.e 6hrs 15 min

Step-by-step explanation:

If a car is traveling 70kmhr , then we can find the distance traveled in 5hrs .

First,

70kmhr∗5hrs=350km. Next we will use the new speed, 70−14 or 56kmhr , in fact, it’s reciprocal, and solve for the new time.

So…

1hr56km∗350km=350km∗hr56km=6.25hrs or

6 hours and 15 minutes
