A car travelling at the rate of 40 km h left Bokaro. A second car left Bokaro 1 hour later. At what speed must the second car travels to catch up with the first car in 4 hours​

distance travelled by both the cars will be equal

so

let distance = speed× time

let car1 having speed S1 and time t1

and car2 having speed s2 and time t2

car1 has left Bokaro 1 hour before car2 so if car2 had to catch car1 in 4 hours than car1 had taken 5 hours to reach the desired location

so now s1×t1= s2×t2

40×5= s2×4

200= s2×4

S2= 200\4

S2= 50 km/h answer
