Initial Velocity = 80 km/h
Final Velocity = 44 km/h
Time = 15 seconds
Acceleration/Retardation = 44-80 divided by 15 = -36/15 = -2.4
The retardation is 2.4

Paritosh30: the retardation is 0.67m/s-2 (here -2 is power)(approx)first convert the given velocities in m/s and then find the retardation by dividing their difference by time

Hello friend

Initial velocity of the car is 80kmph

80×5/18=200/9 m/sec

It slowed down to 44kmph

44×5/18=110/9 m/sec

Time taken is 15sec

Retardation is [(200/9)-(110/9)]÷15

=(90/9)÷15

=10/15=0.666...=0.67m/s^-2
