GIVEN:

  • Speed of the car (s) = 252/5 km/hr.
  • Distance travelled (D) = 200 km

TO FIND:

  • What is the time taken by the car ?

SOLUTION:

Let the time taken by the car be 'T' seconds

We know that the formula for finding the time taken is:-

\large{\boxed{\bf{\star \: TIME = \dfrac{DISTANCE}{SPEED} \: \star}}}

According to question:-

On putting the given values in the formula, we get

\sf{\longmapsto T = \dfrac{200}{\frac{252}{5}} }

\sf{\longmapsto T = \dfrac{200 \times 5}{252} }

\bf{\longmapsto T = 3.96 \: seconds }

  • TIME TAKEN = T = 3.96 seconds

Hence, the time taken by the car is 3.96 seconds

QUESTION:-

A car travelling with the speed of 252/5 km per hour. How much time will it take to travel the distance of 200 km.

ANSWER✓

\Large\bold{given,}

\sf\dashrightarrow speed(S)= \dfrac{253}{5} \frac{km}{hrs}

 \sf\dashrightarrow distance\:travelled(D)=200km

\Large\bold{TO\:FIND,}

 \sf\dashrightarrow TIME\:TAKEN\:BY\:THE\:CAR\:TO\:REACH\:THE\: DESTINATION

\Large\underline\bold{SOLUTION,}

 \therefore let\:us\:assume\:that\:time\:taken\:by\:the\:car\:is\:T\:sec

\sf\large\bold{now}

 \sf ATQ...i.e.,...........according\:to\:the\:question

 \sf\: therefore to\:find\:the\:value\:of\:T,

\Large\underline\bold{formula\:used}

 \sf\therefore time = \dfrac{distance}{speed}

\Large\underline\bold{now,}

\sf{\therefore t = \dfrac{200}{\frac{252}{5}} }

\sf{\therefore t = \dfrac{200 \times 5}{252} }

\sf{\therefore t = \dfrac{1000}{252} }

\sf{\therefore t = \dfrac{250}{63} }

\sf{\therefore t= 3.96 \: seconds }

\large{\boxed{\sf{TIME = 3.96sec}}}

time taken = T = 3.96 sec

HENCE,

TIME REQUIRED TO TRAVEL THE DISTANCE OF 200 KM =3.96 SEC
