a car travels 100 km at a speed of 60 km/h and return with a speed of 40km/h calculate its average speed and average velocity

Using speed = Distance/Time

⇒Time= distance/speed

We have tatal time = 100/60 +100 /40 = 25/6 hr

Average speed = 200/25/6

= 1200/25

= 48km/h
