Answer:i hope this help you

Step by step Explanation:

Distance travelled when car goes for the journey(D1) =100km

It return from the same route so (D2)also =100km

Time of going for journey (t1)=100/60

=1.67 hr

Time of car return from journey

(t2)=100/40

=2.5hr

Total time =t1+t2

=1.67+2.5

=4.17h

Average speed=100+100/4.17

=200/4.17

=47.96 (approx)

=48km/h
