A car travels 20 km in 20 minute. Find the speed of car (a) kmh-1, (b) ms-1.​

(a) if the car travels 20 km in 20 min and 20 min are 1 third of an hour ,so the speed per hour is

(20km x 3)/(20min x 3)

60km/69min

(b) 1km=1000km

20km=1000 x 20

=20000

1min =60sec

20min=60 x 20

=1200sec

speed of car=distance/time

speed of car=20000m/1200sec

=12.6ms-1
