A car travels 240km at a speed of 80 km/h. It covers next 360 km at a speed of 90 km/hr. Find the average speed of the car.​

1) Speed = Distance / Time

80km/h = Distance / (90/60)hr

Distance = 80*(90/60) km

               = 120 km

So, 120 km will cover in 90 minutes.

2) Speed = Distance / Time

   80km/h = 240 km / Time

   Time = 240 km / (80 km/h)

             = 3 hr

            = (3*60) minutes

            = 180 minutes

So the average speed is 240 KM/HR
