bus time= 500/x hr

car time= 500/x+25 hr

500×25/x^2+25x=10

x^2+25x=1250

x^2+25x-1250=0

x^2+50x-25x-1250=0

x(x+50)-25(x+50)=0

(x+50)(x-25)=0

either x+50=0 , x= -50 (neglected because speed not be in -ve)

or x-25=0 , x=25

so speed of bus= 25 km/hr

speed of car = 50 km/hr
