Given:

  •  4 \frac{2}{3} \: hours = 283 \frac{1}{2} km

To Find:

  • How far the car go in 1 hour travelling at the same speed.

Solution:

Change to Improper Fraction into Proper Fraction:

 \frac{14}{3} \: hours = \frac{567}{2} km

Divide both sides by \frac{14}{3} :

 1 \: hour = \frac{567}{2} \div\frac{14}{3}

Convert in into multiplication fraction:

 1  hour = \frac{567}{2} \times \frac{3}{14}

 1 \: hour = 60.75 km
