D1=30KM , S1=40km/HR
T1=D1/S1
T1=30/40 =3/4=0.75hr

D2=30KM , S2=12km/hr
T2=30/12 =2.5 sec
total distance=D1+D2
Total distance=30+30=60km
Total time= T1+T2=0.75+2.5 =3.25hr
Average speed= total distance/ total time
Average speed = 60/ 3.25 =18.46 km/hr

Average speed is. : Total distance/total time.

Total distance: 30+30=60km
Total time: 30/40 + 30/12 = 3.25hrs

Average speed: 60/3.25 = 18.46km/hr
