It is given that in 32 liters petrol the car travels a distance of 320 km

We have to find out that what distance will the car cover in 4 liters of petrol.

In order to find the distance, we will use the unitary method.

Distance covered in 32 liters petrol = 320 km

∴Distance covered in 4 liters petrol = \frac{320\times4}{32}

                                                           = 10 ×4

                                                           = 40 km

The distance covered by car in 4 liters petrol will be 40 km.

According to the question,

It is given that in 32 litres of petrol a car travels at a distance of 320 km

As we have to find the distance covered in 4 litres of petrol,

The car covers the distance in 1 liter

=\frac{320}{32} =10km

The distance covered in 4 litres of petrol,

=>10\times 4

=>40 litres.
