GIVEN :

Distance travelled by a car = 64km

Time taken = 2hrs

Speed of the car = Distance/time taken

= 64/2

= 32kmph

The car covers distance in 6 1/4 hours = ?

We know that,

Distance = speed × time taken

Multiply 32 kmph with 6 and 1/4

= (32 × 6 ) + (32 × 1/4)

= 192 + 8

= 200km

Therefore, the car travels 200kms.
