A car travels 90 km in 2.5 hours.
(a) How much time is required to cover 60 km with the same speed?

There are 60 mins in 1 hour. So 2.5 hours gives us 150 minutes. The car travels 90kms in 150mins. We know that one third of 90kms is 30mins. So the time required by the car to travel 30kms will be one third of 150mins which comes out to be 50mins. Or you can try this method-

90kms in 150mins

30kms in x mins

x= (150 X 30)/90=50 mins
