A car travels a distance 100 m with a constant
acceleration and average velocity of 20 ms^-1.
The final velocity acquired by the car is 25 ms^-1.
find(i) the initial velocity and
(ii)acceleration of the car ​

Explanation:

1) V(average)= Vi+Vf/2

Vi = 2V (average)-Vf

Vi=40-25

Vi=15m/s

2) v^2=Vi^2+2as

a= v^2-Vi^2/2s

a= 625-400/2×100

a=2m/s^2
