s = 100m

average velocity = 20 m/s

v = 25 m/s

i. average velocity = (u + v)/2

  20 = u + 25/2

  20 * 2 = u + 25

  40 - 25 = u

  15 = u

  ∴ u = 15 m/s

ii. 2as = v² - u²

   2a(100) = (25)² - (15)²

   200a = 625 - 225

   200a = 400

   a = 2

   ∴ a = 2 m/s²
