A car travels a distance of 100 km. It travels first 15 km at a speed of 20 km/h, next 70 km at a speed of 30 km/h and remaining distance at a speed of 25 km/h. Calculate the average speed of the car.​

total distance covered/total time taken

total distance covered=D=15+75+10=100km

total time taken=T=(15/30)+(75+50)+(10/20)

=2.5hrs

so, average speed=100/25=40km/hr
