1)

Given:-

  • d= 15 Km
  • Time= 20/60hr= 0.3hr

To Find:-

  • the speed of the car in km h^ -1

Solution:-

speed =  \frac{distance}{time}

s =  \frac{15km}{0.3 \: hr}

 =  > s = 50km \:  {hr}^{ - 1}

2)

Given:-

  • d= 15 km= 15000m
  • time= 20*60 s=1200 s

To Find:-

  • speed of the car in m s ^ - 1 .

solution:-

speed =  \frac{distance}{time}

 =  > s =  \frac{15000m}{1200s}

 =  > s = 12.5m {s}^{ - 1}
