A car travels a distance of 15km towards east, 20 km towards south and then 45 km towards east. Show the motion of the car graphically and calculate: 1) the total distance travelled by the car 2) the displacement of the car

1)Total distance travelled  by car is:
15+ 20+45=80km.
2) To show motion of car graphically and calculate displacement :
from the figure displacement is PS
PQ=15KM
QR=20KM
RS=45KM
PS=√PN² +Ns²
√400+3600
63.2km
