for first 400 km mileage is x km/l

fuel required for first 400km = 400/x

for second 400km mileage is (x+5) km/l

fuel required for 2nd 400km = 400/(x+5)

total fuel consumed for 800km journey = (400/x) + (400/(x+5))

                                                              = ( (800x+2000) / x(x+5) )
