\sf\red{Answer:-}

  • Distance:- 500km

  • Time:- 2Hrs

  • Speed:- ?

So as per the formula,

Speed = \frac{Distance}{Time}

Now, putting the given values,

Speed =  \frac{500 km}{2 hrs}

Therefore,

Speed =  \frac{500 km}{2 hrs}

We always denote any quantity (Speed, here) in terms of its SI units. In this case, the SI unit of speed is meter per second (m/s). So we need to convert 250 hrs into m/s.

\sf\pink{Simple  \:Conversion:-}

1 Km = 1000 m.

=>1 hour = 60 minutes

=> 60 x 60 Seconds [we know that 1 minute equals 60 seconds]

=> 3600 seconds.

So putting the value of Km and Hr in it, we get,

=> 250 x 1000 m / 3600 s

=> 69.44 m/s
