Answer:

average speed is 72 kmph

average velocity is 0.

Step-by-step explanation:

taking about velocity it is zero because initial and final point are same.

comming to average speed,

avg. speed= total distance travelled/total time taken--- ---eqn. 1

from A to B let the distance be x kilometers.

velocity from A to B = 60 kmph

time =distance /speed

time taken from A to B is x/60-------eqn.2

from B to A same distance i.e., x kilometers

velocity from B to A = 90kmph

time taken= distance/speed

so, timen taken from B to A is x/90--------eqn.3

by substituting 3 and 2 in 1

avg. speed = total distance/ total time

total distance = x km (from A to B) + x km ( from B to A)

=2x kms

avg. speed = 2x/(x/60+x/90)

by taking LCM

=2x/(2x+3x)/180

=180(2x) /5x

=cancelling 'x'

=180(2) /5

=36(2)

=72kmph

so average speed is 72 kmph

and average velocity is 0 kmph

Answer:

=72km/h

Step-by-step explanation:

Average Velocity = 0 km/h as displacement becomes 0 km.

Average Speed:-

Since Distances Travelled are equal

there V(av)= 2v1v2/v1+v2

=2x60x90/60+90

10800/150

=72km/h
