v = 0
t = 5 second
a = ?
v = u+at
0=50+5a
-50=5a
a= -50/5=-10
therefore the retardation is 10m/s^2
Distance for 10seconds = 10*50=500m
Distance for remaining 5 second =
S = ut+1/2*at^2
S = 250+1/2*(-10)*5
S = 250+(-25)
S = 225 m
Total distance = 225+500= 725m
