Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

In this question we first need to obtain the uniform speed.

Speed = Distance /time

We have a section between 2pm and 6pm.

The time difference = (1800 h - 1400 h) = 4 hours

The distance covered = (360 - 180) km = 180 km

Speed = 180/4 = 45 Km/h

We want the distance covered by midnight.

The time difference between 6pm and midnight is as follows:

= 2400 h - 1800 h = 6 hrs

Distance = Speed × time

Speed = 45 km/h

time = 6 hrs

Distance = 45 × 6 = 270 Km

It will reach a distance of = 270 + 360 = 630

630 km
