a car travels @ of 30 km./h.
=0.5km./m.
so, 2.5km.= 5m.

then, a car travels @ of 40km./h.
=0.67km./h.(approx.)
so, 6.67km. = 10m.

total displacement of car = 2.5km. + 6.67km.= 9.17km.

average velocity of car,

S=ViT+ 1/2 ATsq.
Vave=S/T=Vi+1/2 AT
Vave=Vi+1/2(Vf-Vi)
Vave=Vi+Vf-Vi= Vi+Vf= (Vf+Vi)/2
This is a formula to find average velocity...

YOU FIND ANS. BY HELP OF THIS FORMULA..
