as we know that

s=v×t

so in the first case

t=15m convert in seconds than we get

15×60=900

and v=40 km/h

convert in m/s

40×5/18

100/9m/s

in the second case

t=10min

so in sec. it would be 600s

and v=60km/h

in m/s it would be 50/3m/s

now we will calculate the distance in the first case

so 900×100/9=10000m

in the second case

600×50/3=10000m

so total distance= 10000+10000=20000

in km it would be 20km

.

.

hope it helps
