A car travels from a point A to point B at constant speed of 50 km/h. On return journey along the same path, it travels at a constant speed of 40 km/h. Find its distance travelled, displacement and average speed.

u = 50 km/h

v = 40 km/h

Distance travelled = ut + vT = 50t + 40T m

Displacement = 0 (They return to the same point)

Average speed = (50t + 40T)/(t + T)

One requires the variable of time to solve this
