Total t = d/v₁ + d/v₂

           = (dv₂ + dv₁)/v₁v₂

Average speed = total d / t

                          = (d+d)/{(dv₂+dv₁)/v₁v₂}

                          = 2d/{(dv₂+dv₁)/v₁v₂}

                          = 2dv₁v₂/(dv₂+dv₁)
