A car travels some distance with initial velocity 60 m/s and final velocity 80 m/s with
unifonin acceleration. What will be velocity of car when driver of car see an awesome
scene which is exactly at middle of total distance ?​

Velocity of the car at middle of total distance = 70 ms ⁻¹

Explanation:

Let Distance be 'd'

Let x be final velocity at half distance

Acceleration (a) = (v - u) / t

Half the distance = 1/2 d

a = v-u / t

⇒ a = 80 - 60 / t

⇒ a = 20/t

For full distance, acceleration is 20/t

For half the distance acceleration will be half,

⇒ a = 10/t

x - 60 / t = 10/t

x - 60 = 10

x = 70 ms ⁻¹

∴ Velocity of driver at half 'd' is 70 ms ⁻¹
