Given

  • initial velocity (u)= 10m/s

  • Time (t) = 2 second

  • Final velocity(v) = 0

To find

  • retardation (a) = ?

Solution

\impliesa = \dfrac{v - u}{t}

\impliesa = \dfrac{0 - 10}{2}

\impliesa = \dfrac{-10}{2}

\purple{ ⟹}\purple{ a = 5m/s²}

Hence the retardation is -5m/s

Hope it helps

Answer:

a = (v - u)/t

a = (0 - 10)/2

a = -10/2

a = -5

HENCE THE RETARDATION IS -5

hope it helps u
