Let T be the time taken
Now v1 is travelled for t1 = 1/2T and v2 is travelled for another t2 = 1/2Tnow
S1 = v1* t1
S2 = v2*t2
Now ,
Avg. Velocity = total disp./ total time
Here,
Total disp = s1 + s2 / T
v1 *t1 + v2* t2 / t1 + t2
Now v1 is travelled for t1 = 1/2T and v2 is travelled for another t2 = 1/2Tnow
S1 = v1* t1
S2 = v2*t2
Now ,
Avg. Velocity = total disp./ total time
Here,
Total disp = s1 + s2 / T
v1 *t1 + v2* t2 / t1 + t2
