12
75 / 3 = how much the vehicle will run for 1 lite of petrol
25 km / litre
therefore
25 * 12 = distance it will travel for 12 litres
i.e. 300km

Given:

Distance traveled with 3 liters of petrol = 75 km

To find:

Distance traveled with the help of 12 liters.

Solution:

Let us first calculate the distance traveled with the help of 1 liter. Thus, the distance traveled with the help of 1 liter will be:

= 75/3 = 25 km

Now, we will calculate the distance traveled with the help of 12 liters. The distance traveled with the help of 12 liters will be:

= 25*12

= 300 km

Thus, the distance traveled using 12 liters will be 300 km.
