Dear student,
your question is done like this:-
A car travels in 40 litres of petrol = 340 km
A car travels in 1 litre of petrol = 340/40
= 8.5 km
A car travels in 32 liters of petrol = 8.5 × 32
= 272 km

Hope you will understand the answer of your question.

Thanking you.
