》1 litre average :- 156/12 = 13km/litre

》litre fuel want to go 1300 km


》= 1300/13 = 100ltr fuel

You can use unitary method which is simple and best.
For 156 km- 12 litre of fuel.
For 1litre-?
1litre- 156/12 = 13 km.
For 1300 km, we need 1300/13 litres
Thus answer is 100 litres.
