A car weighing 1000 kg and traveling at 30 m/s stop at a distance of 50 m. what is the force exerted on it by breaker? what is work done also by the brakes?

humass=1000kg
u=30m/s
v=0
s=50m
by 3rd equation of motion
v²-u²=2as
0-900=2*a*50
-900=100a
a=-9 m/s²
force = m*a
f= -9*1000
f= -9000 N
work done= F*s
=9000*50
=450000Joules
