A car weighing 2000kg and moving with the speed of 20m/s is stopped in 10 s on applying brakes.calculate the retardation nd retarding force

mass= 2000kg

u= 20m/s

v= 0m/s

t= 10 secs

so, a= (v-u)/t
= 0 - 20/ 10
= -20/10
= -2 m/s^2
so, retardation is -2m/s^2

Regarding force, F= ma
= 2000×(-2) N
= -4000 N
